Updated

Definition

The DAU/MAU ratio, often called stickiness, is the share of a month's users who use the product on a typical day. It shows how habitual use is.

Formula

Stickiness = DAU ÷ MAU × 100.

Example

A product with 1,200 daily and 6,000 monthly active users has a stickiness of 20%: the typical monthly user comes on about one day in five.
