Definition
A product qualified lead (PQL) is a user or account whose behaviour in the product shows they're likely to buy, for example reaching a usage milestone, inviting colleagues or hitting a plan limit. It's the product-led equivalent of a marketing-qualified lead.
Defining a PQL
Compare the behaviour of free or trial users who converted with those who didn't. Actions that converters took much more often, and early, make the definition. Keep it to a few clear conditions.
Using it
Hand PQLs to sales or trigger an in-product prompt at the right moment. In LogZuno, a PQL definition can be a saved segment, built from events, properties and counts, and exported for your CRM.
