In a B2B product the customer is a company, not a person. Groups let LogZuno answer account questions: how many accounts were active this week, which ones are drifting, and how far each account got through onboarding.
Send a group
POST /v1/group creates or updates a group and can add a user to it in the same call:
curl -sS -X POST "${LOGZUNO_ENDPOINT:-https://api.logzuno.app/v1}/group" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $LOGZUNO_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-w "\nHTTP %{http_code}\n" \
-d '{
"group_id": "acme",
"name": "Acme Corp",
"user_id": "user-123",
"properties": { "plan": "business", "seats": 12 }
}'| Field | Required | What it is |
|---|---|---|
group_id | Yes | Your ID for the account |
name | No | The name shown in LogZuno |
properties | No | A flat object of account properties: plan, seats, industry |
user_id | No | Adds this user as a member |
You can also add group_id to events and identify calls. Group calls don't count toward your monthly allowance.
What you get
- Groups page: every account with its members and last activity, with built-in segments for active, power and drifting accounts.
- Account profile: members, properties and an activity timeline.
- Per-account charts: count unique groups in any chart, break down by group property, and run funnels per account, so an account converts when any of its members completes the steps.
A key whose New groups switch is off may only name groups that already exist.
